Failing Vision Caused by a Bony Spike Compressing the Optic Nerve within the Optic Canal : Report of Two Cases Associated with Morgagni's Syndrome Benefited by Operation

Abstract: IN this paper we seek to draw attention to a hitherto undescribed condition, in which an optic nerve is compressed and indented by a bony spike projecting into the optic canal (optic .foramen). We have encountered two cases, both of which were benefited by decompressing the optic nerve, and we desire to emphasize the need for recognizing the condition when it is present.
