Factors Related to Psychological Distress in Multiparous Women in the First Trimester: A Cross-Sectional Study

Abstract: Background: The birth rate in Taiwan has declined rapidly; thus, encouraging women to give birth is an important issue in the country. Pregnant women may experience psychological distress, which may negatively impact the health of children and mothers. Prenatal psychological distress is more common in multiparous women than in primiparous women.
