Abstract:Background: Management of hemodynamically significant patent ductus arteriosus (hsPDA) in very low birth weight (VLBW) neonates remains a challenge. Accurate prediction of spontaneous PDA closure could allow selective medical treatment and prevent unnecessary medical intervention.
