Abstract:This paper analyzes the factors influencing the recovery process of a particular micro-grid (MG) following a short-circuit. The MG is supplied by a classical synchronous generator (SG), which performs the MG voltage regulation through its excitation system and by an induction generator (IG). The MG frequency is kept at a constant value by the use of dump load circuit (DL). Simulations are carried out in order to investigate the recovery process after a fault that appeared in the MG has been cleared.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
