Abstract:(60) years were considered. Results: A total of 11 studies were identified: 55% (n = 6) were cross-sectional studies, 36% (n = 4) cohort studies and 9% (n = 1) literature review. The results revealed the following factors associated with the risk of falling in the elderly: age extremes, morbidity and comorbidity, gait/mobility deficit, environmental and sociodemographic factors, among others.
