Abstract:Three wetland‐shallow lakes were studied with the aim of analysing the processes and factors that control hydrochemistry and evaporite deposits in them in basins of the Pampean Plain, Argentina. In this sense, water balances and analysis of the water content of the lakes with normalized water difference index were made, and geologic‐geomorphological characteristics and groundwater flows were defined. Groundwater, surface water and evaporite samples were taken, along with sediment samples from wetland‐shallow l… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
