Factors affecting oral malodor in periodontitis and gingivitis patients

Abstract: Dental plaque, bleeding on probing, tongue coating, and N-benzoyl-DL-arginine-2-naphthylamide-positive bacteria contribute to oral malodor, but with different degrees in periodontitis and gingivitis patients.
