Factores de riesgo para ludopatia en un grupo de jugadores de casinos de la ciudad de Medellín, Colombia

Abstract

ResumenRecently, the diagnostic manual of mental disorders, American Psychiatric Association -DSM-V has included pathological gambling as an entity with nosology, not only by the high prevalence rates that begin to occur in the general population, but also by the impact it has on the mental health of sufferers. This qualitative research, I seek to identify through a semistructured interview, the risk factors that led to a group of 50 players casino, to end this dependence is not chemistry, prominent among them the individual factors related to the "aurosal" that produces the room and playing in casinos, environmental and socio family and cultural.Recientemente el manual diagnóstico de trastornos mentales de la Asociación de Psiquiatría Americana -DSM 5-ha incluido al juego patológico como con una entidad con nosología propia, no sólo por las elevadas tasas de prevalencias que se empiezan a presentar en la población general, sino también por la incidencia que esta tiene en la salud mental de quienes la padecen. Esta investigación de carácter cualitativo, buscó identificar a través de una entrevista semiestructurada, los factores de riesgo que llevaron a un grupo de 50 jugadores de casino, a terminar con esta dependencia, destacándose entre ellos los factores individuales relacionados con el "aurosal" que produce el estar y jugar en los casinos, los factores socioambientales y familiares y los culturales.Palabras Clave: Factores de riesgo, jugadores de casinos, ludopatía.
