Factor VIII assay mimicking in vivo coagulation conditions

Abstract: Under certain circumstances, the determination of coagulation factor VIII (FVIII) is hampered by assay discrepancies between clotting and chromogenic approaches. These are observed in certain patients' plasma as well as in certain concentrates.
