FACOM 6443 magneto-optic disk sub-system

Abstract: There has always been a strong market requirement for rewritable optical disk drive as a follow-on product to read-only and write-once type optical disks. Fujitsu h a s been researching magneto-optic recording technologies for rewritabe optical disk , and h a s developed a disk sub-system with initiative of the National Aerospace Laboratory (NAL) in Tokyo.
