Construction logistics management is crucial for timely and cost-effective project delivery. While studies highlight improved project performance with a strategic and long-term approach to construction logistics management, there is a tendency to pursue projectcentric logistics planning, hindering long-term, strategic approaches. Building contractors often prioritize dedicated solutions for specific projects, resulting in a lack of focus on company-wide efficiency. In the context of project-oriented building construction, where the logistics organization governs the planning, coordination, and control of resource flows, there is little known about how to tailor logistics strategies for the context of building contractors. While studies highlight the potential of strategic approach to logistics on project and supply chain performance, the adaptation of logistics strategies in the construction sector, especially considering influential contextual factors, remains largely unexplored.Current logistics strategy literature predominantly draws from the repetitive manufacturing industries, often in the United States, failing to account for the distinct challenges posed by project-oriented construction. This thesis addresses how building contractors should strategically design their logistics organizations, accounting for building contractors' specific contextual factors and subsequently proposing logistics organization design configurations that align with their unique characteristics.xii Management Systems for Responsible Manufacturing, Service, and Logistics Futures in 2023.Contribution: Haglund conducted the literature review, data analysis, and writing the draft and final version of the manuscript with review and editing from Wikner and Rudberg. The current study explores valuable insights into the significance of using pre-fabrication procedures within construction-based projects. The research focuses on determining how project managers have obtained project efficiencies within complex projects. The study highlights preliminary challenges associated with the conventional approach used within construction projects, i.e., increase in lead time, high operational costs, delays in construction procedures, etc., that impact overall production decisions. Lack of technological implications and expertise among the labor force put forward certain complications for project handlers to execute project deliverables. The section on methodology describes the research methodology adopted in the study as it provides readers with the researcher's strategy for investigating research objectives. By using qualitative research design study is directed to explore the benefits of pre-fabrication procedures within the construction industry. With the secondary data collection technique, the study focuses on examining the research problem highlighted in the research. With the content analysis technique, the research evaluates the aim of the study by analyzing various research articles relevant to the topic. The section on findings and discussion provides an indepth overview of the advantages of using pre-fabrication models within construction procedures. It is evident from the study that for practicing highly sustainable dimensions within projects, the usage of modular construction methods is required that strategically direct project managers to accomplish project deliverables within the expected time phase.

Simulasi telah menjadi suatu hal yang sangat penting pada manajemen operasi. Salah satu masalah yang dapat diselesaikan dengan menggunakan simulasi salah satunya adalah masalah antrian. Permasalahan yang ada pada sistem antrian Bank XYZ adalah penumpukan antrian di kursi tunggu dan lamanya waktu pelayanan teller sehingga kurang efisien bagi customer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan simulasi sistem antrian di bank tersebut, sehingga dapat disusun usulan perbaikan bagi sistem antrian ini. Simulasi antrian ini dibuat dengan menggunakan software Arena. Beberapa data dikumpulkan melalui pengamatan langsung untuk membuat model antrian awal. Model simulasi antrian yang disusun dapat memberikan informasi mengenai rata – rata waktu antrian pelanggan, sehingga dapat disusun sebuah usulan perbaikan berupa pengelompokan antrian berdasarkan jenis transaksi di sistem tersebut. Kata Kunci: Arena, Simulasi, Sistem Antrian.
