“…The second most intense signal for the materials obtained from melamine are N 3 C (N 1s) and C-C/C=C (C 1s). Next, in the order are N-Hx and CN-Hx signals [38,39]. In the case of our ureaderived materials, the intensities of the second and third signals are the opposite.…”

“…The spectra for both N 1s and C 1s of the samples present the typical shapes as well as the peak positions (~399 and~288 eV for N 1s and C 1s, respectively) [37]. The N 1s spectra present three main contributions related to C-N 3 (N 3 C), N-C=N (N 2 C), and N-H x contributions, while the C 1s region show three contributions assigned to C-C, N-C=N and C-NH x [38]. The sample obtained at the highest temperature is characterized by the highest content of C-C/C=C/N 3 C components and the lowest content of N-H x among all obtained samples.…”

“…Figure 6a-d shows a plot of N 2 adsorption-desorption isotherm and pore size distribution of bare TiO 2 and GNT-1 composite. The resulting both the isotherms are of type IV and show an H3 hysteresis loop [48,49]. The mean pore diameter of TiO 2 and GNT-1 is 16.47 and 22.04 nm, respectively, which according to IUPAC regulations confirms the formation of mesoporous structure [50,51].…”

“…The usage of metal‐free carbon nitride‐based nanocomposites instead of aforementioned metal‐based one was examined as an emerging candidate for important organic processes. [ 29 ] Incorporating monolayer graphene sheet (GS) into carbon nitride (CN) host with intensive distribution was successfully realized after in situ condensation of cyanamide in presence of well‐dispersed reduced graphene oxide (Figure 9A‐C). [ 23c ] The highly integrated nanocombination in which two counterparts of guest‐host components feature evident charge‐transfer interaction is used to modify valence and conductor band position for CN semiconductor‐host.…”
