Facile preparation of Au- and BODIPY-grafted lipid nanoparticles for synergized photothermal therapy

Abstract: Gold nanoparticles with large size exhibit preferable properties for photothermal therapy (PTT). However, the prolonged tissue retention and slow elimination of gold nanoparticles limit their therapeutic applications.
