Facile assembly of flexible quaternary SnO2/SrSnO3/Fe3O4/PVDF nanocomposites with tunable optical, electrical, and magnetic properties for promising magneto-optoelectronic applications

Abstract: Facile assembly, co-precipitation, and drop casting procedures have been used to construct SnO2/SrSnO3/Fe3O4/PVDF flexible nanocomposites. SnO2/SrSnO3/Fe3O4 nanocomposites (TSF NCs') have been successfully incorporated into polyvinylidene fluoride polymers (PF), according to the microstructural exploration of the systems, which was revealed by XRD, EDX, and ATR-FTIR analysis. The FESEM and cross-section areas demonstrated that the addition of TSF NCs' to PF porous material enhanced its surface characteristics … Show more

“…This rise signifies an augmented level of disorder with the increase of TO NCs content. The disorder arises from the incorporation of additional energy levels in the density of states due to the deformation potential, Coulomb interaction, and the creation of localized band states [36,37] . Through the process of conducting an analysis of the band gap, it is possible to acquire useful information regarding the behavior of electrons inside the structure of the band gap.…”

“…An elevation in the concentration of nanoparticles within the polymer matrix results in a corresponding augmentation in the absorbance of the polymer film. Consequently, this leads to an escalation in the reflection of the film [36,37] . As a result, when light photons come into contact with many nanoparticles in the polymer matrix, they slow down, causing the refractive index to rise.…”
