“…In addition, the slope of the line at the low-frequency region is inversely proportional to the diffusion resistance ( R ct ), and the intercept with the horizontal axis refers to the equivalent series resistance ( R s ). 36 The straight lines of the cycled N-NiS//AC at a low frequency have a larger vertical slope than those of the fresh N-NiS//AC. The cycled N-NiS//AC exhibits a R s of 0.397 Ω, which is smaller than that of the fresh one (0.413 Ω).…”

“…As shown in Figure a, C (sp 2 ), C–H, C–O, OC–O, C–F, -CF 2 , and −CF 3 species can be found on the C-1s HRXPS of all three DPEs at around 284.3, 285.5, 286.3, 288.3, 289.8, 291.8, and 293.7 eV, respectively. Noticeably, compared with the pristine DPE, the cycled DPEs show lower intensities of −CF 2 and −CF 3 and higher intensities of C–F, OC–O, C–O, and C–H, implying the degradation of the PTFE binder and oxidation of the carbonate electrolyte to form CEI layers on the surfaces of the DPEs. As displayed in Figure b, the pristine DPE exhibits a strong OC bond (531.5 eV) with an Li-O signal from the NMC lattice (529.0 eV); after cycling, the Li-O signal disappears, and an O-C peak at 533.1 eV is observed. Such observations of O-1s HRXPS further confirm the formation of CEI on the DPE surface.…”

“…There were numerous works have been reported about deep understanding of the morphology evolution of the electrode materials. [45][46][47][48] Nonetheless, the effect of precipitant amount on the morphology evolution has not been clearly demonstrated hitherto. According to the results of previous studies on SCs that were based on Ni-Co binary hydroxides, it is envisioned that the morphology and structure of these kinds of materials have a leading role in the level of electrochemical energy storage.…”

“…It was disclosed that the amount of precipitant is influential in crystal nucleus growth and grain formation, exhibiting a determining role in the morphology of final products. There were numerous works have been reported about deep understanding of the morphology evolution of the electrode materials 45–48 . Nonetheless, the effect of precipitant amount on the morphology evolution has not been clearly demonstrated hitherto.…”
