Abstract:Clinical cases of orbital apex syndrome are rare and most commonly manifested as a complication of fungal sinusitis, mainly in immunocompromised and poorly controlled diabetic patients. Rhino-orbital mucormycosis is a rare opportunistic, aggressive and fatal infection caused by mucor.
