Facial muscle wasting – caused by neurological tumour involving foramen ovale

Abstract

We report a rare case of a patient presenting to a dental practitioner with unilateral wasting of the masticatory muscles and inferior alveolar numbness secondary to a skull base tumour involving the foramen ovale.
