“…It is impossible to apply the process proposed by the RIBA to all construction projects in the same way. Because projects of different scales require different data types, scopes, and utilization methods, construction-related organizations and associations are proposing BIM-based design processes from various viewpoints [50][51][52][53][54]. Therefore, the data utilization status in BIM-based construction projects dealt with in this study cannot be used as a standard.…”

“…In the previous study, Kim et al [5] had fabricated a full-scale mock-up of ITER VV TrS to assess manufacturability and to optimize welding sequences of facet and complicated shape. The narrow gap GTAW was applied to TrS welding to minimize the distortion and defects.…”

“…The VATS, using an alternative assembly method and only employing EB welding, has shown less than 1/10 welding distortion relative to the conventional TIG welding. The inboard segment mock-up manufactured by KO DA, shown in figure 9, is to develop and stabilize EB welding techniques [38]. The second mock-up planned in KO DA is a 20 • upper segment.…”

“…The geometry of the divertor is based on simulations and extrapolation from the results of tokamak experiments [45], and the water-cooling system is designed to maintain an adequate margin to the critical heat flux for each component under the design heat flux [46]. The present status of the design and procurement of the divertor system, related R&D and technology qualification efforts, and an outline of the procurement schedule were reported [38]. In the final design, plasma-facing components have two kinds of armours for the initial operation phase: carbon-fibre-reinforced carbon composite (CFC) for a higher heat flux area and tungsten for a higher recycling area.…”
