“…In the FIR region, the structure of VO2/spacer/metal multilayer has gained much attention for its simple preparation in structure, the high emittance at targeted wavelength and the excellent regulation of emittance, which is attributed to the switchable excitation of FP resonance. [32] For the low temperature (semiconducting) state of the VO2 layer, lights could be simply reflected by the Ag back layer through the transparent HfO2 and VO2 layers in the FIR region. As a result, the multilayer, acting like a metal reflector, exhibits a strongly suppressed emissivity.…”
