Fabrication of UV Photodetector on TiO2/Diamond Film

Abstract: The properties of ultraviolet (UV) photodetector fabricated on TiO2/diamond film were investigated. Single crystal diamond layer was grown on high-pressure-high-temperature Ib-type diamond substrate by microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition method, upon which TiO2 film was prepared directly using radio frequency magnetron sputtering technique in Ar and O2 mixing atmosphere. Tungsten was used as electrode material to fabricate metal-semiconductor-metal UV photodetector. The dark current is measured to be 1.… Show more

“…Actually, quantum walks have been experimentally implemented in a variety of quantum systems [10], such as optical resonator [11], nuclear magnetic resonance [12], trapped ions [13], trapped cold neutral atoms [14,15], single photons in bulk [16], fiber optics [17], and coupled waveguide arrays [18]. And on the theoretical side, fundamental effects of quantum statistics [19,20], interactions [20][21][22][23], disorders [24,25], defects [26,27], and hopping modulations [23,[27][28][29] on quantum walks have been intensively investigated. * Electronic address: liwangiphy@sxu.edu.cn…”

“…While different approaches can be adopted for this purpose, [ 19 ] the most commonly used structures used for wavelength‐division and mode‐division demultiplexing are diffraction gratings and spatial light modulators (SLMs) enabling steering of different wavelengths and topological charges into distinct directions, respectively. [ 93,94 ]…”

“…Thus, researchers began to develop solar‐blind photodetectors from wide bandgap semiconductors, which have the advantages of high radiation hardness and intrinsic visible/solar blind . In recent years, solar‐blind photodetectors have been developed from some wide bandgap semiconductors, such as AlGaN, ZnMgO, Ga 2 O 3 , and diamond . Among these semiconductors, diamond has a variety of unique characteristics such as wide bandgap (5.47 eV), high thermal conductivity, high breakdown voltage, high carrier mobility, and high radiation hardness, which make it a promising candidate for solar‐blind photodetection.…”
