Abstract: This review article presents the biomimetic helical inclusion of amylose toward hydrophobic polyesters as guests through a vine-twining polymerization process, which has been performed in the glucan phosphorylase (GP)-catalyzed enzymatic polymerization field to fabricate supramolecules and other nanostructured materials.
