“…Various methods for fabricating titanate-polymer composite films or polymer films incorporated with titanate particles have been reported [8,[18][19][20][21][22][23][24]. In most reports, the composite films are fabricated by mixing a dielectric polymer solution and titanate particles, and evaporating the solvent of the polymer solution.…”

“…PVP is easily soluble in water, so it is preferred to avoid phase separation in the reactions [2][3][4]. In literature, alkali ions containing polymers are reported to be more promising possessing potential applications [5,6]. PVP polymers have been found to be different in their functionalities from other polymeric systems, such as the PEO, PPO, PVDF, PANI, etc [7].…”

“…On the other hand, compared to the blank sample more disperse and homogeneous particles are formed ( Figure 2d,e); one cannot have steric repulsion unless the PVP adsorbs. In addition, the increased stability of BaTiO 3 suspension could be related to the high viscosity of PVP aqueous solutions, 36 which reduces the mobility of the stable nuclei and consequently the agglomeration. The reduction of the crystallite size (Table 1) from 70 nm (for the blank) to 63 nm (for low PVP concentration) and to 34 nm (for high PVP concentration) also indicates that PVP is influencing the growth of BaTiO 3 but is not acting as a crystal habit modifier.…”
