Fabrication of 1 T Bi-2223 superconducting magnet with 92 mm bore diameter at 77 K

Abstract: Abstract.A Bi-2223 superconducting magnet for practical use in liquid nitrogen is designed and fabricated. Bi-2223 tapes prepared by ConTrolled Over Pressure (CT-OP) process are used for the winding, and the critical current at 77.3 K and selffield is in the range of 174-185 A. 28 double-pancake coils are resistively connected in series by copper terminals. “…To short or simplify the preparation process, in the present study, benzaldehyde derivatives containing hydroxyl electron-donating groups or methoxy electron-donating groups were selected to react with aldehyde taking place aldol reaction, the advantame intermediate was obtained from the aldol reaction, the intermediate was obtained from the aldol reaction, and then, advantame was prepared through a ring-opening and hydrogenation reaction on the basis of the intermediate at the same time, so advantame was prepared in just two simple steps (Wu & Zheng, 2009).
