Abstract: The novel imidazole topical drug luliconazole (LCZ) has potent antifungal efficacy against a wide variety of fungi. When applied to the skin, LCZ has tremendous promise as an antifungal agent, however, constrained by its poor skin permeability and limited solubility, requiring protracted therapy and repeated dosage to achieve full recovery.
