Fabrication and Characterization of Graphene Incorporated Cu Based Perovskite in Application of Perovskite Solar Cell under Ambient Condition

Abstract: In this work, we demonstrate the synthesis and characterization of Cu-based thin film perovskites and their prospective application in photovoltaic cells and light-harvesting devices, which is lead(Pb) free and environmental friendly. We studied valuable part of graphene for stability issue in CH 3 NH 3 CuCl 3 (MACuCl 3 ) Perovskites solar cell and improved band gap 2.61 eV to 2.56 eV as well. Copper ions represented responsible of this materials for the bright green photoluminescence. For assimilating MACuCl … Show more

“…In the XRD spectra it was able to identify the peaks, in which some of the peaks corresponds to the peaks of methyl ammonium copper chloride and the other is that of phenyl ethyl ammonium copper chloride. By studying the crystalline full width and half width maxima (FWHM) we can realize that smallest FWHM is in the plane (002)* at 16.09˚ [27]. Diffraction peaks at 16.09˚, 28.7301˚,37.69˚,38.55˚, 51.46˚ are indexed to be (002)*, (003)*, (221)*, (004)*, (005)* for methyl ammonium copper chloride and the rest of the peaks identified as that of phenyl ethyl ammonium copper chloride [28].…”

“…One of the most promising materials, lead halide perovskites have been demon-strated for next-generation photovoltaic and light-harvesting application [1] [2]. Organic-Inorganic lead halide perovskites have been attracted great interest from many researchers due to tremendous improvement of power conversion efficiency (PCE), 3.9% to more than 22% within short research of time 2009 to 2020 [3] [4] [5].…”
