“…T‐cell lymphoma is a subtype of non‐Hodgkin's lymphoma, with a significantly higher incidence in Asia and Latin America than in Europe and the United States . The pathological features of T‐LBL are vascular central infiltration and destruction, often accompanied by obvious tissue necrosis, highly invasive probability, insensitive to chemotherapy and poor prognosis .…”

“…In the current study, 60.7% of the 56 patients with ENKTCL expressed EBER, which is consistent with the previous report. Studies by Suzuki et al 22 and Wang et al 23 demonstrated that the EBV DNA copy number in the peripheral blood of patients is a good indicator of the tumor load and therefore, could be used to predict the tumor response and potential adverse reactions to chemotherapy in ENKTCL. However, the current study showed that EBER had no significant effect on prognosis.…”

“…It is a non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) that is rare in Western Countries but common in East Asia and Latin America. While lymphoma genesis specific for NK/T cell lymphoma is largely unknown, the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) has been detected in almost all ENKLs [7]. EBV has a transforming activity on lymphocytes and may play an important role in lymphoma genesis.…”

“…Histological specimens of ENKL have been shown to have diffuse proliferation of lymphoma cells with an angiocentric or angiodestructive growth pattern. The lymphoma cell express NK cell markers including CD2, cytoplasmic CD3, CD7 and CD56 [7,8].…”
