Extracts of medical plants suppress the SOS response and reduce mutagenesis in E. coli

Abstract: One of the promising directions in the fight against the emergence and spread of farm animal microbiota resistance factors is the development and search for feed additives that can inhibit the SOSresponse. SOS-response is one of the main mechanisms of the occurrence of mutations in bacteria. Plants used in traditional medicine can be a promising source of safe substances that reduce the SOS-response of bacteria. A screening of plants potentially containing substances with antiSOS activity was performed. During… Show more

“…This allows us to open new areas of research in the field of cryopreservation of fish reproductive cells and ensure the improvement of previously known technologies. [18][19] When using the method of vitrification of sperm under deep low-temperature cooling in the form of thin films on nets, the results were obtained (Figure 3, 4). When applying the seminal fluid to the net frame, a thin film was formed.…”

“…Although developed and serially produced for the agroindustrial complex of Russia, special equipment and equipment for it for the introduction of liquid fertilizers ensures the effective use of liquid fertilizers according to various technologies, taking into account the biological characteristics of agricultural cultivation, the type of fertilizers, advanced methods of application both superficially and locally-subsoil. [15][16][17][18] In this connection, systematizing the machines and equipment for the introduction of liquid fertilizers, the following technologies can be distinguished ( Fig. 4): Iwith sprayers with multi-jet nozzles: 1onto the soil surface; 2onto the plant from plants and on the soil surface; IIwith sprayers with extension hoses to the soil surface; IIIwith sprayers with extension hoses to the soil surface and plants; IVwith universal unit FDC (JSC "Eurotechnika") for the working bodies of the cultivator Cenius during the main and pre-sowing soil cultivation; Vwith universal unit FDC when sowing grain crops under the anchor openers of the Primera DMC seeder and chisel openers of the Condor seeder, as well as when sowing row crops under the disc coulters of the precision seeder -EDX (all machines are produced in Russia -Samara, JSC "Eurotechnika").…”
