Abstract: Tartaric acid (TA) is a dicarboxylic acid found in bananas, grapes, apples, papaya, cherries, pineapple, pears, mangoes, and tamarind. Due to its widespread use in the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries, it is an essential carboxylic acid.
