For its advantages of noninvasion and high temporal-spatial resolution, planar laserinduced fluorescence (PLIF) is increasingly applied to measure the liquid film near axial flow. However, the circumferential distribution characteristics of liquid film, which are significant for heat and mass transfer process, cannot be measured briefly by the axial imaging. Because of the refractive index difference of the gas and liquid as well as the circular pipe, circumferential observation suffers distortion inevitably.
