Extraction and Characterization of Coffee Silverskin Oil With Potential Application for Enzymatic Synthesis of Fatty Acids

Abstract: In this study, the coffee silverskin (CS) crude oil extraction process was investigated for further characterization of physicochemical properties and enzymatic hydrolysis for fatty acids production. The soxhlet and ultrasonic extractions showed CS oil yield similar to 3.8% and 3.1% respectively.
