Abstract:Passiflora nitida Kunth. (maracujá-do-mato) é uma espécie nativa do Brasil com ocorrência nas regiões norte, nordeste e centro-oeste. O seu fruto é consumido principalmente in natura, sendo pouco explorado quanto as suas propriedades funcionais. O objetivo deste estudo, foi extrair substâncias pécticas do mesocarpo de Passiflora nitida Kunth.
