External jugular vein thrombosis secondary to deep tissue neck massage

Abstract: An 85-year-old man presented with an acute asymptomatic lateral neck mass in the context of deep tissue neck massages during the past year. He was referred to vascular surgery after an ultrasound examination of the neck revealed a thrombus in the external jugular vein. His past medical history and comorbidities were noncontributory.
