Abstract:A cyprinid, Opsarius dogarsinghi (Hora, 1921) was recorded for the first time in September 2021 from the Kodalbasti section of the river Torsa, Jaldapara National Park complex. In September 2021, gill nets with a mesh size of 30 mm were used to catch a total of three specimens of O. dogarsinghi from the flowing water in the Kodalbasti section of the river Torsa.
