Extending the Time: Solvothermal Syntheses, Crystal Structures, and Properties of Two Non‐isostructural Thioantimonates with the Composition [Mn(tren)]Sb2S4.
Abstract:Mn(tren)]Sb2S4. -The thioantimonate (II) obtained under conditions A) (II-a) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with Z = 4, while that from prolonged reaction B) (II-b) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with Z = 8 (single crystal XRD). Both polymorphs contain anionic ∞ 1 [Sb 2 ] chains, which are formed by interconnection of SbS3 pyramids in (II-a) and by SbS3 and SbS4 units in (II-b).
