Extending the role of the dental professional in the management of non-melanoma skin cancer

Abstract: Non-melanoma skin cancer is the most frequently diagnosed malignancy worldwide and regularly presents in the head and neck region. As a result, dental professionals are in a key position to identify suspected cases and provide an onward referral. The specialist management of these patients requires a team approach.
