Abstract: Ordered and disordered semiconductor superlattices represent structures with completely opposed properties. For instance, ordered superlattices exhibit extended Bloch-like states, while disordered superlattices present localized states. These characteristics lead to higher conductance in ordered superlattices compared to disordered ones.
