Extended Small-Dose Platelet Transfusions in Multitransfused Hemato-Oncological Patients: A Single-Center Experience

Abstract: Background: Refractoriness to platelet transfusion, prevalent among 15-20% of hemato-oncological patients, is associated with multitransfusions and inferior outcomes.
