Extended Bandwidth Optimized and Energy Efficient Dynamic Source Routing Protocol in Mobile Ad-hoc Networks

Abstract: With the increase in the evolution of wireless communication, the ad-hoc networks are gaining attention and are significantly becoming the technology solutions to the various problems. Mobile ad-hoc Networks (MANETs) are envisaged to grow as a main component in the today 4G architecture, and ad hoc networks are projected to be a significant element of the whole future wireless communication. The MANETs are infrastructure less, self-forming and self-organizing network in which there is no control of any central… Show more

“…With Pigeon Hole Principle we need an output of size at least 2 N * (2 N -1) which is equal to 2 2N -2 N in other words a size equal to 2N bit number. Malthew Szudzik method used in [18] overcomes the above limitation and is defined by equation (8) below. Inum 1 and Inum 2 are two key input integers based on which a unique number is calculated and returned.…”

“…The authors propose a method to find better routing path having more energy than other routes through the analysis of average energy and minimum energy of paths extending the network lifetime in [7]. An algorithm to effectively manage the consumption of bandwidth and energy by applying mobile agents to carry the data is put forward by authors in [8].…”

“…This will be the integration of secured message transmission (SMT) with DSR and Secured Routing Protocol (SRP) to get secured Dynamic Source Routing (SDSR), which is used for capable of secured route discovery. This explores the extension of feasible improved throughput and efficiency that also incorporates the concurrent usage of multiple cached routes to the route cache management [22], [23].A idea of proactive route discovery dependent on the applications like voice over IP, Video conference etc, which has particularly high and sustained bandwidth.…”

“…Bhatia and Tomar [39] have presented bandwidth optimization and power efficient dynamic source routing protocol in MANETs. Jyoti Neeli et al, [40] have presented various approaches undertaken by 4958 existing literature to a discrete security issue and also examine the effectiveness point of the security.…”
