Abstract:Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is a rare severe liver disorder, which affects both children and adults worldwide. Studies have shown that AIH may result from the abnormal body's immune system, which attacks own liver, and causes inflammation and liver damage. However, the exact cause of AIH is unclear.
