“…Induction of VvSTS in canes from grapevine Cabernet Franc has been recorded during the first 4 weeks of storage by Houillé and coworkers [217], indicating that grapevine wood is still transcriptionally active after pruning. In 2017, Yin et al [220] observed a significant induction by wounding stress of VqSTS36 promoter activity in Vitis quadrangularis L. In 2018, Vannozzi and co-workers [218] reported that in response to wounding the transcript level of VviSTS29, -41 and -48 gradually increases, coupled with the induction of WRKY and R2R3-MYB transcription factors.
