“…A previous report has suggested that 32% of lung cancer specimens were positive to MAGE-1 antibody, however, the majority of the positive specimens showed low and heterogeneous staining (Jungbluth et al, 2000). Similarly, RT ± PCR analysis indicated that MAGE-3 gene was present in 45% lung carcinoma but the level of MAGE-3 expression was not quantitative (Yoshimatsu et al, 1998).
