“…Animal study showed that the expression of a series of lncRNAs differed in pregnancy and non-pregnancy endometrium, which might play a vital role in facilitating embryo implantation 11 . The expression of H19 was down-regulated in the endometrium of RIF 12 . The expression of AK124742 was down-regulated together with PSMD6 in the cumulus cells of nonpregnant group compared with the pregnant group 13 .…”

“…During the implantation window, the regulation of mRNA levels by lncRNA-miRNA molecules in the endometrium is critical. This is the case for H19 /let-7a-5p/ ITGB3 where H19 acts as a sponge for let-7a-5b to prevent the degradation of ITGB3 transcript that is translated into a protein necessary for implantation [ 174 , 177 ]. This association between lncRNAs with other RNAs to create ceRNA networks could be involved in many functions needed to prepare the endometrium for embryo implantation, such as immune system activity, angiogenesis, apoptosis, and steroid biosynthesis [ 178 ].…”

“…In addition, the expression of H19 is downregulated in the secretory endometrium of patients with repetitive implantation failure (RIF) compared to the control group. This differential expression could lead to the downregulation of integrin β-3 necessary for trophoblast adhesion [ 174 , 177 , 186 ]. Furthermore, the differential expression of lncRNAs in patients with RIF has been associated with a dysregulation of pathways necessary for a proper implantation process, such as cell adhesion, tumor necrosis factor signaling, Toll-like receptor signaling, and NK-κB signaling [ 187 , 188 ].…”

“…Using high-throughput sequencing analysis, recent studies have attempted to uncover key lncRNAs as biomarkers to predict endometrial receptivity (Koot et al, 2016;Fan et al, 2017;Sigurgeirsson et al, 2017;Chen et al, 2018Chen et al, , 2019Feng et al, 2018), while little is known about their biological function and significance in the human endometrium. The expression of H19 was down-regulated in the endometrium of RIF (Zeng et al, 2017). LncRNA882 acted as a ceRNA for miR-15b and then indirectly regulated the level of LIF in goat endometrial epithelial cells (EECs) (Zhang et al, 2019).…”
