Abstract:Formyl peptide receptors (FPRs) are an important part of innate immunity involved in antimicrobial phagocyte functions such as chemotaxis, secretory degranulation, and respiratory burst. These phagocyte responses are observed in both acute and systemic chronic inflammation.
