Exposure to environmental tobacco smoke in non - smoking adults in Israel: results of the second Israel biomonitoring survey

Abstract: BackgroundExposure to environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) increases the risk of heart and respiratory disease, cancer, and premature mortality in non-smoking individuals. Results from the first Israel Biomonitoring Study in 2011 showed that over 60% of non-smoking adults are exposed to ETS.
