Abstract:Peat soil is a soil with low nutrient content, due to the weathering process of organic materials in peat land not taking place well. The characteristics can be observed in its physical, chemical, and biological properties. This study aimed to determine the chemical characteristics of peat soil in the Humbang Hasundutan Regency.
