Abstract:Fast dissolving tablets of amlodipine besylate were developed to improve patient compliance for hypertension treatment. Trigonella foenum-graecum (fenugreek) seed mucilage was used as a superdisintegrant in the formulation of fast dissolving tablets by direct compression method.
