Abstract: Infrared (IR) emission bands by interstellar Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) and Polycyclic Aromatic Nitrogen Heterocycles (PANHs) are observed towards a large variety of interstellar objects and offer detailed insights into the chemistry and physics of the interstellar medium.
