Abstract:BACKGROUND Over the past decade, several studies have evaluated the quantity and quality of biomedical research publications produced around the world. Specific bibliometric analyses have been conducted on published research in several biomedical fields. However, there has been limited application of the technique to assess trends in global oral health research. Global trends in prosthodontics research activity have not been evaluated.
