Exploring the possibilities to increase the autonomy of an electric vehicle

Abstract: The paper identifies the possible energy sources that an electric vehicle can use during its operation to increase energy autonomy. The identified sources are modeled and simulated, and the results are interpreted in terms of viability. The paper presents the constructive principles of a power regeneration system consumed by an electric vehicle during operation to increase its autonomy. It also identifies the possible energy sources that an electric vehicle can use during its operation. The concepts of electri… Show more

“…At the input of the motor driver used for motor control that will allow the automatic selection of the direction of travel (left-right) will be used the data obtained from the integration of the 3 systems presented: LoRa, ROS and RPLiDAR. As further developments, it is desired to use machine learning algorithms and the integration of the vehicle thus created within the concepts of Smart City and Smart Grid in Petrosani [24,25] against the background of greater interest for autonomous electric vehicles [26].…”

“…So the engineering training branch cannot fold very well on an online education model, the last two years that have passed, years marked by the pandemic, have highlighted the importance of such a training system. Thus, the training system based on a remote interaction with everything that means laboratory equipment in a space intended for research [9], in a certain field, can be extremely useful both in times when certain restrictions are imposed and as tool adapted to new technological eras [10].…”
