The electric vehicle (EV) is a crucial innovation with the potential to lower greenhouse gas emissions and help reduce the causes of climate change. Despite their multiple benefits, EVs are selling lower numbers than would be expected, seeming to require more positive intent from their sellers to increase the pace of EV adoption. Hence, this study explores the enablers and inhibitors of EV adoption intention from the sellers' perspective using a dual‐factor model. The extended theory of planned behavior has been used to explore the enablers, whereas the status quo bias theory has been used to explore the inhibitors of EV adoption. The results indicate that attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, environmental concern, and perceived corporate social responsibility obligation have significant positive impacts on intention to adopt EVs. However, regret avoidance, inertia, perceived threat, and perceived value have significant impacts on the resistance to adopt EVs. This study enriches the literature related to intention and resistance to adopt green technology and also provides several suggestions to marketers for increasing the pace of EV adoption.

This study investigates consumers' adoption intention toward the virtual clinic. The theory of planned behavior and status‐quo‐bias theory are used as underpinning theories to investigate the effects of enablers and inhibitors, respectively. Further, the mediating role of perceived values on the relationship between enablers, inhibitors, and adoption intention is also investigated. The study also investigates how mediating effect of perceived values varies at different levels of perceived information privacy concerns. The results of this study reveal that attitude, subjective norm, regret avoidance, inertia, and switching costs significantly influence the adoption intention toward virtual clinics. The study's findings will enrich technology adoption and online health literature, especially emerging literature related to the virtual clinic. The study helps healthcare service providers understand consumers' adoption intention of the virtual clinic.

Telemedicine can be a powerful tool to expand the delivery of health care services at a relatively low cost (Bashshur, 1995;Ekeland et al., 2010). Even though technological innovations have eased the expansion of the supply of telemedicine services in recent years (Pandian, 2016), demand has remained stubbornly low (Wootton, 2008;Zanaboni & Wootton, 2012). The COVID-19 pandemic seems to have changed that. The pandemic led many governments to impose lockdowns and social-distancing policies, which induced patients around the world to experience telemedicine for the first time.In this paper, we exploit the introduction and subsequent relaxation of social-distancing policies to study how the demand for telemedicine changed in Argentina. We rely on administrative records from one of the largest providers of telemedicine in We are very grateful to "Llamando al Doctor" for granting access to its administrative records.
